Annual Applicant and Alumnae Hot Cider Party

On January 12th, a mixed group of prospective students, admitted students (class of 2024!), and Smith alumnae gathered for our annual hot cider party at the home of Laura Selznick (class of '68).

Over delicious baked goods and mugs of steaming hot cider (recipe from Laura’s house mother from her time at Smith), Alumnae shared their favorite memories from Smith, their advice on the best professors/classes, and answered wide ranging questions. Tales of study abroad, the benefits of the housing system, and stories of times where one was required to wear skirts to dinner brought the whole group closer together.

Huge congratulations to the incoming class of 2024! It was delight to meet you all and we can’t wait to hear your favorite things about Smith next year.
